What’s the hipshake…Philly style? It’s a way to work off your Thanksgiving dinner, for sure. Join Christine Ohlman on the Saturday after turkey day to shake your hips and listen to her sweet rock-n-soul voice. This long-running vocalist for Saturday Night Live’s band (she still has that gig, too) is coming to The Puck Live in Doylestown with her towering, blonde beehive hairdo and guitar in hand! This gal’s love is rock and roll- and she wants to share it with you.
Christine Ohlman and the Rebel Montez have recorded six albums. Ohlman has shared the stage with Springsteen (in NYC just last month), Lou Reed, Ian Hunter, Dr. John, and so many others! So, it’s no doubt this woman is going to rock your world. With appearances at this years Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction concert, Bob Dylan’s 30th anniversary bash, filming live concert DVDs and lending her voice to a Grammy nominees tribute to Howlin’ Wolf, we’re lucky she’s able to catch a breath and stop by the Philly area for a show. She’s done so much- oh and she sang the theme song for “30 Rock”. It’s a no brainier here- come see Christine Ohlman and her band before they go on to do other amazing things in the music world. It’s truly an honor to have her perform at The Puck.
