Legendary shoe company Vans is offering Philadelphia schools the chance of a Lifetime!
As part of their Vans Gives a Band program, $10,000 worth of gear plus $10,000 will be awarded to local Philadelphia School’s Music Programs .
Vans has partnered with brand ambassador and Philly native, musician Tierra Whack, to bring the local punch.
“There hasn’t always been funding for music programs in my City so for Vans to give students an opportunity to showcase their creativity is really important!”
Each Philly public school will have a chance to receive $10,000 of music equipment to form a band PLUS a $10,000 grant to fund a music program.
Vans, the California shoe giant which has been around since the late ’90s, is dedicated to enriching Community through local arts and music avenues.
After a largely in demand House of Vans pop up in Philadelphia earlier this year, there’s hope to recreate that same artistic aesthetic.
