Rising Tamil-Swiss artist, Priya Ragu, drop a remix of her song, “Good Love 2.0,” by Joe Goddard of Grammy and Mercury Prize-nominated synth-pop group, Hot Chip, today via Warner Records.
The track, produced by and written with Priya’s brother, Japhna Gold, “Good Love 2.0” blends her love of R&B with her Sri Lankan heritage, “incorporating textures from traditional South Indian instrumentation and inspiration from legendary composers of Indian cinema such as A.R. Rahman, Ilaiyaraaja and Deva.”
Priya was born and raised in Switzerland, after her parents escaped from the Sri Lankan war in the 1980’s. She initially started her music career with singles that attracted Rolling Stone India, VH1 India, 1EXTRA, and others.
