Dina Layzis, emerging singer and songwriter, and her musical songwriting partner, Theresa San Luis, are anticipating the crescendo of their project, DREAMLAND Lullaballads, in the music world. Their album, an internationally produced effort, has received critical acclaim by various parenting and music blogs, as well as recognition from nationwide song contests. The CD features Layzis’ dreamy and angelic voice singing about wondrous landscapes of magic and fairy tale settings, as well as heartfelt messages about kindness and love.
While the songs may be geared towards Children, parents should find the songs engaging and enjoyable too. With a voice that could be compared to Celine Dion, Layzis has a range and tone that is sure to please.
Layzis, of New Jersey, and San Luis, of Missouri, pioneered producing the album via correspondence, having never met, though dreamed in unison to create the inspiring lyrics and soothing melodies. Layzis, operatically trained in voice, skillfully articulates the songs they co-wrote with unique style, supported by expertly produced instrumentation by arranger Andrew Linn of Colorado, and engineer/producer Lance Day of New York. Olga Ziskin, of China, provided richly illustrated drawings for the album’s colorful insert.
