The ambient artist, Chawa Lilith, shares her brand new EP, Euphonius, out now on all streaming platforms. Throughout the musical journey of Euphonius, Lilith explores a lot of ground on her meditative EP.
The EP was inspired by Lilith’s own meditation practice, where she was able to create her own signature sound during the lockdown in LA.
“Euphonious is a message from the heart! It is a sign and inspiration of our connectedness and feeling connected because we are. You feel an instant rush of joy and letting go. It’s not intended to be meditation music, and it just might make you feel truly satisfied. It’s a message, a loving greeting from soul to soul. (If you want, meditate on the songs, but just enjoying them is what this EP aims for. Unintentionally mediational music),” explains Chawa Lilith.
The opening track, “Good Things,” is breathtaking, ethereal, and honest. It is a song that embodies everything that Lilith mentions in her quote above.
“Miracles” begins with a haunting spirit of chanting, which features her beautiful voice. The next track, “Bouncing,” was definitely one of my favorites on the EP, if not my favorite. It begins with Lilith chanting and adding dramatic sounds throughout the track.
The next song, “Dar Knight,” is a great example of a track for meditation, sleep, or any other relaxation activity.
The last and final song on the EP is titled “Havas Love.” This track is a very haunting, meditative, and addicting. Her voice is so super angelic. Overall, I would recommend this record for any meditation or relaxation event. It’s a calming record.
