Today, LA’s rising pop/R&B star, IYLA, shares her new gorgeous, sexy video, for the track, “Strings,” one of the favorites on the EP by her fans.
The video was directed by one of her long-time collaborators, Patrick “Embryo” Tapu, with styling by Savannah Baker and Grace Butler and choreography from Janelle Ginestra.
Iyla reveals, “In creating both the song and visual for ‘Strings,’ I wanted the viewer to be transported to the all too familiar cycle of going back to someone after you cut ties. In this case, a bizarre land of theater puppets, where heartstrings are being pulled in every direction under the grasp of lust and love.”
IYLA shows in her video that she has confidence and sass. I love the attitude that this song gives off.
