For Emily is a very short EP of three fairly long tracks (falling between five and seven minute mark), all of which are instrumental. The sound is inventive and a little bit different with some electronic moments but is grounded heavily in guitars an drums. The tracks are emotive without being overbearing and there are enough levels of texture to stop them from becoming boring as new elements are added into the different songs.
One of the challenges of instrumental music is the lack of vocals to draw the listener into the songs. El Ten Eleven circumvent that issue by creating tracks that will sit nicely in the background for your gathering of friends or family or other people you may gather with.
