Canadian pop singer/songwriter, Scott Helman, shares a follow-up to 2020’s fantastic Nonsuch Park (sa), the angsty new single, “Old Friends,” is out now via Warner Records, perhaps giving fans an idea of what his next record will sound like.
The song, “Old Friends,” gives us an inside look into some of his intimate memories, specifically hanging out with a certain group of friends that weren’t good for him.
When he was in Los Angeles with producer/writer Ryan Daly [Charlotte Lawrence, Fitz and the Tantrums] and songwriters Michelle Buzz [Bebe Rexha, Katy Perry] and Sean Van Vleet [PVRIS, Oliver Tree], he belted out the words: “I miss old friends!”
He does plan to release more new music, which is to come later on this year.
