Labor Day weekend in Philadelphia never gives us a day off with Made In America in town. Both concertgoers and talent come from all over to join together for this special celebration of live music. From Burna Boy to Victoria Monét, the audience had a wide range of acts to tune into, and I definitely had my favorites.
J.I.D. was unreal on stage and knew how to bring the energy level up in a crowd. From the powerful message on his shirt to the ones in the lyrics that he spewed, he knows what he’s doing.
Snoh Aalegra dazzled the crowd with her eye-catching looks and melodic tones. Giving a soulful performance with hits such as “I Want You Around” and “Fool For You” while drawing everyone in with each word she sang. They
Victoria Monét knows what she’s doing when she steps on center stage. With her dance breaks and angelic voice, her sensual lyrics know how to hypnotize you with hits such as “Dive” and “F.U.C.K..”
Bad Bunny started the show by taking a seat, but when he stood up, he took the stage by storm! With bright colors and up-tempo dance moves, he had the audience singing every lyric back to him in unison. Everyone in the crowd was up on their feet, dancing along as the night came to a close. It was an excellent finale for the last day of Made In America 2022.
Overall, Made in America 2022 was one for the books, and I can’t wait for next year’s line-up. If you weren’t there this year, make sure you get your tickets and a portable fan (it can get a little toasty). Stay cool and stay tuned, Philadelphia!
