The annual summertime concert hosted by one of the leading radio stations in Triple A and noncommercial radio WXPN is back again this year. For the ninth consecutive year, The XPoNential Festival hosted by Subaru will be held across the Delaware River in Camden, New Jersey. For the second year in a row, WXPN will be teaming up with concert promoting juggernaut Live Nation to use The Susquehanna Bank Center along with neighboring Wiggins Park as sites for the festival.
Just as Wilco, The Avett Brothers and Dr. Dog played Susquehanna Bank Center last year, WXPN has again tapped some great talent for fans this time around. Local favorite Dr. Dog will be back, teaming up with the Lumineers on Saturday July 27th. Since playing the side stage last summer, the Lumineers have exploded thanks in part to their single “Ho Hey”. Admission for lawn seats at Susquehanna Bank Center for the show will be included with the 3 day passes for the XPoNential Festival. But for people who are just interested in seeing Dr. Dog and the Lumineers, individual tickets go on sale this Friday, February 8th at 10am. Remember, these tickets do not include admission to the XpoNential Fest.
The rest of the lineup for this year’s XPoNential Festival will be released on April 16th. The same date that the roster of artists is released, tickets will go on sale as well. Last year the lineup included a well round bunch of acts that dipped into genres stretching from singer/songwriter to local indie artists. With such a diverse group, one can only imagine who will be there this year!
