With or without the higher tax chunk taken out of your paycheck, most of us live on a budget. What a shame, considering Philadelphia has so many amazing restaurants with drool-worthy food that we just need to try! Now’s the chance- put the Ramen away, don’t defrost the chicken and whatever it is you got on sale can wait until tomorrow.
Starting January 20th to 25th and again January 27th to February 1st, a night out in Center City with a fantastic meal should be on your to-do list. Over 50 restaurants will be offering a three course menu for $35 or under a person (not including tax, gratuity and alcohol).
The restaurant variety is wide, going from steak and seafood to Japanese, Italian and even some BYOBs. The full list of restaurants participating in restaurant week (presented by TD Bank), can be found on CenterCityPhila’s website. Check it out to make dinner plans, see what restaurants are also open for lunch and plan to make your reservations. It’s no doubt a popular event and tables are filling up quickly. Many of the restaurants allow you to make a reservation online, but it’s always best to call!
This is a great way to get out with friends and support the restaurants is our city, without breaking your wallet.
