West of Hell’s album, Spiral Empire, is a perfect addition into the rock world with strong drum beats and intense guitar riffs. It was full of energy from top to bottom. The screaming vocals mixed perfectly with the hard rock sound, albeit sometimes I did just want to listen to them let it rip without the vocals because their playing is so strong. The songs appeared to have a common theme of falling apart.
Each track had the same level of power and energy fueling it and made for a consistent feel throughout the album, and a great way to keep interest up as the album progressed.
Rating: Bad-ass
