Young New England

“If you’re too drunk to walk along the streets of cobblestone, you know Boston never drinks alone, Boston never drinks alone” is the mantra of the title track “Young New England” from Boston band Transit.
Every song is a journey with the band. They take us drinking in “Young New England”. We run away with the band in “So Long, So Long”, and go through a nasty break up in “Thanks for Nothing”.
The album stands out amongst its peers of rock/pop bands that are emerging from scene. There is a total Flogging Molly meets Taking Back Sunday vibe with tunes that both rock and get stuck in your head.
And here’s the good news, Philly, you don’t have to wait to see them in concert! This Young New England band is playing The Barbary on 4/7! So get out and see some live music this weekend, this band won’t disappoint you.
