Our Eyes Are Peeled
Reviewed by Avalon Lee
Since this was my first experience listening to The Fleeting Ends, I have to ask – was I living under a rock? Our Eyes Are Peeled evokes a feeling within yourself that is urging you to be surrounded by good friends, with a glass of wine, discussing the finer things in life. Their rock-n-roll influences are evident, but they’ve incorporated them with a cleaner sound.
The Fleeting Ends’ second full-length album brings you through a showcase of the band’s talents, giving you catchy radio hooks one minute and mood setting ballads the next. Example: Shuffle from “Little People” to “Floored”. It’s just another way for them to say, “we’re here, we know what we’re doing, and we’re ready to take over”.
Songs such as “I’m Like That” express harmonies which would make The Beatles twist and shout and a chorus that, I promise you, will have you singing along (at least I am).

Hey now,
I don’t get the chance to check out modern music, what with my daily talk show, but these guys really take it to the next level. What’s wrong with the music industry not signing these guys? Sound like the next Beatles for Christs’ sake.
Hey now,

Avalon,
Great to see an album review with such great things to say about ‘Our Eyes Are Peeled’, and (gasp) … Clint Eastwood! Overall, I’m glad that you enjoyed the record. Great article.
Many Thanks,
