As THAT MAG’s editor, I find out a lot of Philadelphia’s events through my writers. They’re more in tune than I am and I’m so thankful to have a great staff with good tastes! And when there’s something I’m really excited about, I appreciate how quickly one of my writers will jump at the opportunity to write an article about it. So, with 2012 coming to an end and everyone finally done with Christmas shopping, school for the semester, a break from work and just a chance to relax, I asked some of my team what they’re looking forward to the most this upcoming year. Michele has great taste in music. She’s especially looking forward to the sophomore release from indie/alternative band Local Natives, coming up in January. Also in January, folk artist Erin McKeown’s Manifestra will be released. McKeown will be in Philadelphia on January 20th and Local Natives are here in April. Read more…
