Sydney, Australia-bred R&B pop artist Nick de la Hoyde celebrates the release of his brand new single “Animals” from Gatcombe Music Pty Ltd. The love song, Hoyde says, is about the “unconditional love” that animals share.
“Animals” is a song about love! I wrote the song because I am constantly in awe of the unconditional love that I see in all animals, whether in the wild or the ones we are blessed to share our homes with! No matter what sort of day you have had, or how bad you are feeling, when you get home you are greeted with love and affection that puts a smile back on your face. Human beings can learn a lot from animals, and real, unconditional love is the biggest lesson you can learn from them and one that we should put into practice in our own lives”.

On “Animals,” Hoyde teamed up with ZU/ZU to deliver the track’s pop production. The single is a preview to Hoyde’s upcoming debut full-length due out in June/July 2019.
“Animals” shines in its pop-first mentality; it’s a track that could easily be featured on TV or movies, as well as indie music blogs. Hoyde’s silvery vocals pair well with the song’s message about unconditional love.
Hoyde grew up with a Syrian mother and British father, but the Sydney-based singer/songwriter experienced many global influences which now is incorporated into his music. Hoyde melds introspective lyrics with R&B/pop elements to create a sound all his own. Nick and his older brother/producer, Joseph (ZU/ZU) de la Hoyde, have created a sound that is intimate, engaging, and personal.
