Singer, songwriter, and producer, brother sundance – a.k.a. Rylan Talerico – shares new singles “Hollywood” and “Nightmares.”
Talerico recently appeared on the podcast, Beats 1 with Zane Lowe on Apple Music to premiere “Hollywood,” Lowe said of the track, “something that catches us off guard…this one’s coming in hot.”
Regarding the song, Talerico explains, “This song is for anyone who’s ever felt like they have trouble fitting in or being ‘cool.’ I spent so much time and energy trying to fit in and then one day I realized I didn’t need to — that just being myself was okay. It sounds so corny but it’s true. Writing this song was a big step for me — it helped me feel more comfortable in my own skin. Hopefully it can do the same for others.”
Born Rylan Talerico, the brother sundance project went from playing sweaty punk shows in front of a dozen kids at fifteen-years-old to widespread renown for his 2018 EP, Honey. His next release will be 2020’s I Hurt You, I Made This EP, out this fall.
