In the world of heavy metal music, some bands stay around for awhile and some don’t hold your interest very long. This has never been the case with a Sevendust album, a band who began in 1994. Today, their ninth album, Black Out the Sun, was devoured by the hardcore followers who have been waiting patiently for nearly three years.
Sevendust does not fail to disappoint, proving once again that the vocals of Lajon Witherspoon fit perfectly with his equally talented band. Songs worth listening on Black Out the Sun include “Mountain”, “Decay”, and “Murder Bar”. Though there has been some rumors, just rumors, this may be Sevendust’s last album and tour. If this is the case, they have left their fans with another great album. But it today and turn it up loud.
