In the summer of 2012, the guitar company began offering the sale of semi-hollow body guitars via a full-blown website that offers consumers the option of customizing any aspect of the instrument. Not only can you design your own guitar, but in the age of instant gratification the company has a good turnover rate taking about four weeks to receive the signature guitar.
Due to the overwhelming demand that developed as a result of this unmatched perk, Moniker took the project to Kickstarter.
Moniker’s affordable guitar program is using the online pledge system to help fund the customizable guitar project by asking for $50,000 to keep the company self-sufficient. With less than a week left and more than half of their goal made, can we the people help Moniker bring quality, yet affordable built-to-order electric guitars to the market? Who knows, but the Hendrix in you may move you to check it out here.
