The San-Diego-based alt/art-rock artist, Sluka, returns with their boundary-breaking music and with a new track titled “Isn’t It Strange,” out now.
Sluka is led by Christopher Sluka, a singer, songwriter, musician, and performer and has recorded eleven studio albums, and has a fan base that spans continents.
Growing up, Christopher enjoyed a multinational upbringing, as he was raised all around the world, with his family never spending more than a couple of years in any single location.
At the beginning of his career, Christopher found himself performing on the New York scene with the likes of Tears For Fears, INXS, Talk Talk, and Simple Minds. After recording a single in L.A., he discovered an appreciative audience in Japan, where he went on to record two albums.
Over the years, his visionary styles have developed and matured, but have always remained enigmatic. His focus has always been on songwriting while “cultivating an international reputation for his enthralling “live” performances.”
That ability has allowed Christopher to map out a career where he’s able to sell out venues for shows, and that demand has also allowed him to enjoy numerous television appearances, radio interviews, and press reviews. Of course, Christopher hasn’t achieved this success all by himself; he has been fortunate to work with some of the most talented musicians in the business, many of whom have become lifelong friends.
