What’s sure to be one of the hottest shows this summer is the 6th Annual Roots Picnic. Philadelphia native and Roots drummer, Questlove released this year’s lineup via Twitter creating a buzz throughout the local clubs and dubs of Philadelphia.
Artists like Naughty By Nature, Lushlife, Grimes, Gary Clark Jr. and Solange are just a few of the many more than prominent 17 acts ready to grace the stage and the City of Brotherly Love.
The Roots Picnic will be held on Saturday, June 1st at The Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing. Tickets go on sale starting 1/25 at 10AM. You can purchase them online at TicketMaster.com, sans those pesky surcharges, or at the TLA Box Office located on 334 South Street.
With last year’s show, featuring Kid Cudi and De La Soul selling out completely, I’d suggest grabbing your golden ticket sooner than later.
