The incredibly talented alt-rocker, Sammy Brue, is back with a new song, “Megawatt,” off his forthcoming album, Crash Test Kid.
“Megawatt” is the fourth song to be released from Brue‘s already critically-acclaimed sophomore album out June 12th. Brue recently completed opening slots on tour with Michael Kiwanuka and Marcus King prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. He was, unfortunately, forced to cancel his trip to SXSW, prior to the full event being canceled. During the pandemic, he’s spent most of his time at his home in Utah performing live on his Instagram Stories.
At the age of 11, Brue wrote his first song; a fingerpicked, autobiographical song titled “The Woody Guthrie Song.” Since first starting out, he has released three homespun EP’s his New West Records-debut, I Am Nice, and the 2018 EP, Down With Desperation.
