The opening track “Hope Is A Waking Dream” a futuristic, modern rock song that contains crazy time signatures with a bit of psychedelic rock, and post-punk. Thompson blends pop rock, indie rock, alternative, with futuristic synths.

When you listen to this record, you can tell how much production went into creating it. They are able to blend instruments, synths, an multi-layered vocals to create a new sound.
The title track, “My Kind of Woman,” delivers more of a psychedelic rock vibe and quite possibly might be the best track on the EP. The instrumental part of the song features some serious guitar solos that electrify the song and give it depth.
On “Patience,” Thompson delivers some serious moody vocals that say to the listener “you lose your mind when you lose your cool/you lose your soul without patience…”
The final track on the EP “Mczebra” is a stellar instrumental that opens with psychedelic-like, jam-band guitar work and rhythmic percussion. At 7:29, the song opens with ocean waves, whistling, and then breaks into electric guitars. The track’s dynamics deliver a song that displays the musician’s talents.
