If you don’t already have plans for July this year you should get ready to mark down a few dates. The headliners for Rockstar Energy Drink’s Mayhem Festival have been announced and it’s nothing short of amazing. Rob Zombie, Mastodon, Five Finger Death Punch and Amon Amarth are going to be taking the reigns on the main stage with other bands like Behemoth, Children of Bodom and Machinehead acting as closers. If that weren’t enough, there’ll be another two stages where Butcer Babies, Emmure and other local bands will keep the show going.
For those who’ve never been to one of Rockstar’s festivals, the show isn’t just limited to music. Besides being able to sample plenty of Rockstar products, there are lots of activities to take part in, try new and unreleased video games, autograph signing sessions and merchandise vendors. Oh, of course don’t forget the Metal Mulisha, one of the worlds best Motocross Teams, will be there to perform.
There’re four dates in Pennsylvania and New Jersey (July 12th, 13th, 19th and 23rd) and the tickets are reasonably priced from 31 dollars for lawn seats, 45 dollars on 200 level seats and 60 dollars on 100 level seats. Starting Friday the 22nd at noon, lawn seats are only $20. This deal lasts just until Monday the 25th, so hurry over to the website.
