Canadian singer-songwriter, Leela Holt, shares her latest single, “Nothing Ever Hurt Like You,” along with the accompanying music video for the track. You can see the lyric video below.
The song, which is available across streaming platforms, looks at the dark moments of life honestly and openly.
“I’ve had a lot of loss in my life. A lot of moments spent at rock bottom,” says Holt. “Through that, though, have come lessons and a deeper understanding of myself. This song is a vulnerable and brutally honest look at these dark times where I was heartbroken and grieving.”
The upcoming video will feature a poem that Holt wrote about the symbolism of roses in multiple contexts.
