The 80s retro pop artist, Les Techno, shares his latest single titled “Flowers For Dystopia,” via Solid Bass Records. “Flowers For Dystopia” is a song about being on lockdown for 3 months, locked in his recording studio.
He says, “one night, in a dream, I imagined walking out on a stage in some dingy East Village club, with the band playing this riff. I approach the mic and, like a wizard’s incantation, call out “Objects!, Objects!”. I woke up in the middle of the night, ran down into his studio and started recording it.”
A blend of cool retro pop and post-punk/goth with an 80’s vibe, “Flowers For Dystopia,” is a funky retro tune that gives ode to the genre, while also illustrating Les Techno‘s experience in quarantine.
Les Techno is a New York City-based post-punk/electronic 80’s rock artist. He has previously released critically-acclaimed singles “Where Were You?”, “Come Along,” “Closer Look,” and “Guilty Pleasure,” all available on Spotify.
