Shattered

An emotional roller coaster ride begins in Asheville, North Carolina with an independent garage rock quintet called Reigning Sound. This high octane quintet features the snarling vocals of the lead vocalist and guitarist Greg Cartwright who sounds similar to Tom Waits and Bob Dylan. Reigning Sound will tug at the heart strings of many rock fans with the release of their latest album, Shattered. It features 11 heart-wrenching tracks about love, heartache, and self doubt.
The coaster ride begins with the first track “North Cackalacky Girl”. This track features snarling vocals and grinding garage rock melodies. This track is a heartwarming tale about a man who has fallen hopelessly in love with a beautiful woman. Meanwhile, the ride continues with heartache in the second track “Never Coming Home”. This track features sorrowful vocals and weeping garage rock melodies that sound like teardrops are falling on the ground.
Shattered begins to take the downward spiral with “Falling Rain”. This track features raspy vocals and gritty, ominous garage rock melodies. Reigning Sound does a marvelous job with the entire album, though, by bringing out raw emotions, vocals and passionate lyrics about the uncertainty of life.
