Scottish singer/songwriter, ONR, shares his newest single, “Must Stop,” alongside an accompanying video. The music video is brought to life with an incredible collaboration with Sarah Barthel of Phantogram. This soon-to-be Fall favorite is just one of many ONR‘s incredible songs.
Described as “upbeat, but lovesick,” “Must Stop” is a clever track with an alternative-pop feel to it, paired with some insanely catchy lyrics and melodies. The highlighted lyric “must stop falling in love with every girl who f*cks me…up” is everything that this song craves to share with the listeners.
“‘Must Stop’ is a song about being repeatedly hurt,” ONR says. “A desperation to be in love and to be loved by someone, anyone — and the blows you can take when you leave yourself so open.” Barthel says, “I think it was the universe telling me I have to express my feelings instead of bottling them up.” She also shares that she too understands these familiar feelings, and wanted to be a part of it.
As I said before, there’s also the new music video for the new song that they have also released today, so be sure to give that a look as well!
