Everything RUC has to offer comes together to present a festival right in the campus Quad. This is the first ever music festival held at Rutgers Camden. Nothing says welcome back to the students more than live music, free food and new friends. Whether you’re a student at the school, a neighbor to Rutgers, or walked the halls back in the day, come on by and celebrate at the inaugural RAAD Music Festival.
The first band to perform is Philadelphia’s own Literature, who recently released a new album. The group goes on at 12:20 pm followed by New Jersey group Stay Gold at 1pm. Grab some food, play games, get a henna design, win prizes like cool Rutgers gear and more. Refreshments include soft pretzels, water ice, hamburger, hot dogs, candy, water and soda.
After the daytime activities, come back at night for Headphone Disco. The party starts at 8 pm with face paint and glow sticks provided. Nighttime games include college classics like flip cup and pong. There will also be a photo booth on hand so you can remember the evening.
Again, this festival is open to anyone, not just students. Come say hi, bring your friends and family.
