Pop/R&B sensation Kim Petras has released her new music video for her song, “Icy,” today from her 12-track project, Clarity. Her new project shows her breaking the constraints of a toxic relationship to become a stronger, independent version of herself.
In a press release, Petras explained, “I wanted the visual to feel fresh and signify becoming a stronger version of myself,” says Petras on the video. “The video starts with me feeling trapped and watched in a glass box, but as it progresses, I escape and evolve into a bionic version of myself through the pain of heartbreak.”
Petras will be kicking off her Clarity tour on October 21 and has a stop at the Fillmore in Philadelphia on November 19. Get tickets here.
