Steve Gunn @ PhilaMOCA:
The virtuoso guitar player and occasional Kurt Vile collaborator has just released Way Out Weather, his second album on Paradise of Bachelors with friends Justin Tripp and John Truscinski backing him up. With Mary Lattimore and Jeff Zeigler, Spacin’.
Kopecky Family Band @ Union Transfer:
The Kopecky Family Band has received a warm welcome in Philly while touring behind 2013 release Kids Raising Kids, which spawned the hit song “Heartbeat”. WXPN hosts the Nashville indie-rockers Friday night with COIN opening.
Saturday, October 18
Black Milk @ Johnny Brenda’s:
The talented producer and MC from Detroit is previewing tracks from upcoming album If There’s A Hell Below, out October 28th and available now for pre-order. He’ll be performing with live band Nat Turner, which should be a real treat. Also on the bill are Reef the Lost Cauze and The Bul Bey.
