Philly-based alt-rock darlings, PHNTMS, have released their newest song, “Carabelle,” accompanied by a beautiful, sunkissed video. The music video was directed by their own guitarist Adam Jessamine and filmed by Tom Flynn (Lamb of God, All That Remains).
When speaking with Jessamine, he divulges what “Carabelle” truly means to the band.
“‘Carabelle’ is what you get after a toxic relationship ends. One day, they will hear this song and it will hurt. It’s the visual of a heart breaking after spending five years traveling to a different state to make a relationship work out. That feeling of being completely in love and even though there were red flags, you still choose to be with this person. Everyone has a Carabelle. Who was your Carabelle?”
Recorded at Vudu Studios with producer Mike Watts (The Dear Hunter, Glassjaw, Dillinger Escape Plan), PHNTMS newest outing shows just how great of a range the band possesses. The sky is truly the limit for one of Philadelphia’s great new bands.
