Philadelphia’s experimental/psych-pop project, Mock Suns, shares their next single, “Get A New Dream,” from their forthcoming, self-titled record. The record is scheduled to be released this Friday!
The track is about growing older, and maybe not living your life to its fullest. This song follows the previous single releases including “Enchanted Forest” and “Nobody’s Watching.”
The self-titled album is the first solo effort by original member Greg Puglese who is determined to ensure the spirit of the project remains following the departure of his bandmates following 2016’s Stay True.
The new album is a beautiful, sonic evolution of their previous psychedelic-leaning sound featuring warm synths, beautiful, melodic basslines, and fantastic drum patterns that lay the foundation for brooding guitars, saxophones, and more synths.
