The incredibly brilliant Perfume Genius (Mike Hadreas) announces that he will perform a live-streamed concert from The Palace Theater in Los Angeles, CA on September 19. The show will begin at 12 PST and the stream will be available to view until Sunday, September 20 at midnight, PST.
Perfume Genius will be accompanied by a 6-piece band, in addition to a string quartet. Their set includes songs from the latest album release, Set My Heart On Fire Immediately. This concert will be the first time that fans can enjoy hear songs from a live setting.
Tickets are on sale now and are $15.00 in advance and $20.00 on the day of the show. For an additional $5.00, fans will have the opportunity to watch a special intimate, acoustic performance by Perfume Genius. Tickets and merchandise can be purchased here.
Hadreas grew up in Seattle, WA and began his music career in 2008. In 2010, he released his debut album titled Learning via his long-term label home, Matador Records. The album instantly caught the attention of music critics. “The songs on Hadreas’ full-length debut are eviscerating and naked,” said Pitchfork, “with heartbreaking sentiments and bruised characterizations delivered in a voice that ranges from an ethereal croon to a slightly cracked warble.”
