The buzzworthy, Nashville-based band, Nightly, shares their next single, “summer,” with the band’s debut album, Night, Love You, set for release on October 16th via BMG Recordings. The album, comprised of 14 tracks mostly written during quarantine, will also feature tracks like “The Movies” and “Not Like You,” as well as the break-up anthem, “You Should Probably Just Hang Up.”
“The release of the ‘Summer’ music video brings back those summer nights filled with memorable summer romances and more. I was channeling these feelings that I get of nostalgia and memories tied to a certain time of year,” frontman Jonathan Capeci explains.
“From the beginning, we’ve wanted to be an album band. ‘night, love you’ was the sentiment behind the band name, so in a way, this is our semi-self titled debut. It’s deeply personal, and we couldn’t be more proud of this record. All of it was created in Joey‘s basement which feels full circle from where we started, making songs in a tiny apartment. All of the songs were written this year with the exception of the closing track which is one of the first songs we ever wrote. We always knew that we wanted to save it for our debut record, now it’s finally yours,” Capeci explains.

Nightly was originally formed by cousins, Jonathan Capeci and Joey Beretta, and drummer Nick Sainato. In 2010, they released their first EP, Honest, and their song “XO” earned over 10 million streams.
