The New Jersey electronic music hitmakers and innovators, Grapefruit Sound Lab, shares a new remix of punk rocker Gina Volpe‘s hit single, “Shine.” The single is originally taken off Volpe‘s album, Different Animal.
The man behind the remix is New York native, Robert Cotnoir. With many influences ranging from classical, freestyle, electro, house, and classic rock, he’s been able to create and hone a sound that is only his. Also having success as one of Hollywood’s “top award-winning motion picture music editors,” he’s also worked with Amuka and Sarah Naughton.
Gina Volpe is a guitarist, singer/songwriter, and visual artist from the East Village in New York. She may be best known for her band, the Lunachicks. Since the release of her 2017 debut solo EP, Different Animal, she has firmly established herself as a solo artist. Her latest solo work includes six singles that were released each month in 2019 in a project entitled, Winter To Spring.
