Morning Parade, coming from the UK, sings modern rock songs with an electronic twist. On track, “Shake the Cage”, there are these electronic sounding bird calls, which I think is on par of the album’s modernity theme. “Reality Dream” sounds like a remix, and fans of Postal Service or the more pop-upbeat side of Death Cab for Cutie would be into Morning Parade’s sound.
“Alienation” is an uplifting track on seizing the day and finding one’s place in the universe, with lyrics like, “So make angels in the snow (…) and live without regrets. ”
“Culture Vulture” is a solid track dropping complaints on the present age of technology, sounding like a modern, synth-filled Oasis.
Morning Parade plays rock with an electronic twist, and are a band to check out for their take on the present happenings in time.
