Summer has finally arrived in the city of Philadelphia! A perfect way to bring in the season is by celebrating the arts with live music and delicious food.
An exciting musical line up is set for Molestice, the annual block party and free music festival held on the 100 block of North Mole Street on Saturday June 20th. Every year, the people over at Molestice come together to kick off the summer solstice and feature some emerging artists to help celebrate. This year’s line up includes Kuf Knotz, Brian LaPann, New Sweden, Ill Fated Natives, Effie Liu, Woodro Skillson, Gooch and The Motion, and The White Cheddar boys. The line up covers a wide array of genres including everything from indie-folk to hip-hop and even some electric pop.
A talent buyer for Mole Street, Sean Timmons, explains “Molestice is actually a 30-year old tradition, started by the neighborhood of North Mole Street. The event has historically involved a day of live theatre performances and community building. In recent years, Mole Street – an agency actively involved in booking live entertainment in the Philadelphia region –has taken over production of Molestice and we are excited to announce an eclectic line up of musical performers.”
Foodies! Molestice has something for you too! Food trucks featuring cuisine from vendors such as Poi Dog Snack Shop, Phoebes BBQ and KAMI will be lining the block. Several craft beers will also be available for purchase for those over the age of 21.
Held by the Mole Street brand building agency, Molestice guarantees a day of music, community, food and fun. For more information head to their website. http://molestreet.com
