Last night THAT RADIO had the pleasure of interviewing the folks from Meca Music Heals. If you aren’t familiar with them, get familiar! This organization is helping children in the Philadelphia area in a unique and positive way.
Meca Music Heals mission statement is as follows:
MECA Music Heals was founded by Peggy Carroll and Kevin Henry to unite musicians together to empower abused children in their quest for healing and justice
The founders of Meca Music Heals, Peggy Carroll, Kevin Henry, and Ritchie Rubini have put together a compilation CD featuring an amazing group of Philadelphia artists. All the proceeds from the sale of the CD are to benefit the Philadelphia Children’s Alliance. The PCA supports and helps child victims of sexual abuse by providing an array of services.
The compilation CD entitled “Movin On” features Minerva, The Caulfields, Eric Brazilian, Lauren Hart, Cliff Hillis and many more.
A labor of love, the CD is a must purchase for those looking to encourage hope through music.
You can purchase the CD on the Meca Music Heals website or on itunes:
