There is no excuse not to show the one you love an amazing time this Valentine’s Day. No matter what your sweetheart is into there is something in the city that will put a twinkle in his or her eye. For those who like to walk on the wild side why not walk amongst the dead and take the “Love Never Dies” Valentine’s Ghost Tour of Society Hill on Fri. Feb. 14-15. There will be six tour times, so you can go before or after your romantic dinner.
The fifth annual candlelight walking tour will take you to many historic sights as ghostly love stories tell of love- deep and passionate or down right dangerous and devious. For only $20 per person, with a portion of proceeds benefitting the Philadelphia Society for the Preservation of Landmarks and Old Pine Church, ticket sales will go fast.
The 60 minute tour will take you through the streets of society hill and haunted Powell House, Old Pine Cemetery, and other sites.
