Los Angeles’ Smokescreens share their new single, “Working Title,” out now. The song, “Working Title,” is about being at your wit’s end.
“‘Working Title’ is a song about being at your wit’s end and wanting time to stop so you can catch your breath. For me it was a long time job I had that ground me down slowly over the years. I was there until I finally reached a breaking point. The song was written after that breaking point,” explains Chris Rosi.
Jake Sprecher, Brice Bradley, and Chris Rosi are Smokescreens. In 2017, they released their self-titled debut album to wide acclaim, then Used To Yesterday quickly followed in 2018.
Over the last two years, the trio has toured some, written a bunch of songs, and met some amazing people along their journey. One of the notable friends they’ve made is David Kilgour of the legendary New Zealand band, The Clean. Kilgour came to Los Angeles to produce Smokescreens‘ upcoming record, A Strange Dream, out October 30.
