Ahead of the spring 2020 release on Zed Dead’s imprint, Deadbeats, “Some Nights I Feel Like Crying”, expands on the album, and also its lead single, “New In Town.” The song was the artist’s first release since 2017.
On “Some Nights I Feel Like Crying”, Kid Froopy showcases his ability to deliver emotion-fueled music paired with melodic instrumentation. What’s unique about this track is that it mixes various genres together including themes from ’70’s rock, pop, and indie into a beautiful cocktail.
The music video was directed, edited, and produced by Kid Froopy and came together over the course of two nights. “I found myself collecting images while I was writing,” explains Kid Froopy. “I tried to go on intuition and not think too much. I don’t know what they add up to, but I like how it feels.”
Kid Froopy has created a name for himself by working with other artists including Terror Jr., Shawn Wasabi, umru, Lostboycrow, CRAY, ROZES, and Bipolar Sunshine.
