The Vancouver-based KaseoGems unveils their debut release together, a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s 1984 hit, “I’m On Fire.”
KaseoGems puts their own spin on the cover, making a heartfelt, yet darker feel to their debut release.
KaseoGems are made up of two singer/songwriters of Geoff Gibbins and Vicky Sjohall. The duo made the most of the downtime with the pandemic to begin creating music together as a duo. Not only did they work on collaborating on playing some cover songs, but they began working on some original songs.
Between their beautiful, warm harmonies plus the acoustic instrumentation, they are able to make the Boss’ song their own.
