Nashville band, Kansas Bible Company and local band, Satellite Hearts graced the Milkboy stage on Tuesday night to an adoring crowd.
The three-piece, Satellite Hearts started the night and had a lot of friends in the crowd. Fellow Philly musicians such as Ali Wadsworth showed up along with fans and it nurtured a more personal vibe for their set and fostering an emotional investment akin to watching close friends on stage. Satellite Hearts’ energy transferred effortlessly to Kansas Bible Company set.
The crowd was pumped and ready to dance the moment the 12-piece played their first note. Kansas Bible Company’s sound was big and energetic. The chorography of the horn section was a joy to see and motivated those in front of the stage to dance as much them. A highlight of the Kansas Bible Company set was when the percussionist performed in the crowd right in front of the stage.
The show was a good time and the band projects good vibes when they perform, an attribute shared by Satellite Heart. Together the bands made for a great night at Milkboy in Philadelphia.
