Breakthrough

Unlike many country/rock recording artists, John Scargall has only started a serious business career in music a little over two years ago. Despite his recent start, his music is featured on the world-wide played video game NASCAR ‘15 and performed around the United States. This year on October 6th John Scargall will release his debut album Breakthrough.
Instrumentally speaking, his music is very much within the well known spirit of rock and country which allows the listener to smoothly immerse in the lyrics as the song plays. In the opening track “Tearin’ It Up” the band is tight and energetic, setting up the vibe with memorable riffs and great “pocket,” followed by Scargall’s words: “You came with razor blades taking a slice right out of me.”
Just like this opening track, the remaining songs of Breakthrough are particular arranged to enforce Scargall’s message. They are relatable and empowering. In track number seven “Two Face Factory”- “You’ve got a name. You’ve got the blame to take the shot and play the game. If it’s all the same, you’ll go insane.”
Even though John Scargall has just started his music career and many things are yet to happen, his early success reflects his passion for sounds, stories, intent, character, and energy with his contemporary country rock group.
