The Italian grunge rock-inspired duo, Lithio, shares their first English language single, “Deejay,” out now. This single is the first of their upcoming album, Revolution to come out which will be the band’s first full release in English! The duo shares that Revolution “represents both a change in their sound and a change of the language usually used in their songs.”
Their single, “Deejay,” is full of insanely intoxicating energy and is truly such a song for the summer! You can’t help but bop along to the song when it comes on. Their sound is one that listeners can definitely latch on to, and the video only heightens that infectious energy that Lithio brings to the table.
This up and coming duo (vocalist Daniele Scardina and guitarist Marco Melillo) shares that this fiery new single is a “prayer to the god Deejay, who grants, for 3 minutes, freedom, light-heartedness and the will to live,” and that they search for “escapism in this electro-dance track.” Helping bring their music video to life is director Gabriele Villa, and director of photography Jacob Ambroggio.
