Hey everyone! Lauren, your editor here. A few days ago, I received this email from a band called Little Cities. The five-piece recently released their new single, “Can I Come Over?” and the accompanying music video (see below!).
The song is about asking ourselves, “what if I did this differently?” It was the very first song they wrote together as a band and they loved playing it live, but there something about the song that didn’t satisfy them.
One weekend this past fall, the quintet found out that their friend and producer, Gavin Brown, would be flying out to their hometown to write and record a single with them. They rewrote the track and re-recorded this past fall.
