Indie pop’s beabadoobee releases the next single and music video for her song, “Worth It,” out now. She is one of the buzziest artists of 2020 with 900 million streams to date, including the sixth most streamed song of the summer, “Deathbed (Coffee For Your Head).”
Decorated with grunge-inspired 90’s guitars, “Worth It” captures the emotions of letting go of previous, “nostaglic sentiments and mistakes” that continues to haunt us from past experiences. The new single is written “simply about teenage infidelity” Bea admits, “and the mistakes one can make when they’re tempted to do things. It’s a bit of a confession song but also an understanding that it’s a part of life.”
“Worth It” joins Bea‘s previous singles, “Sorry,” and “Care,” a track that speaks about rejecting any sympathy from anyone that doesn’t care about getting to know the real her.
Her debut album, Fake It Flowers, will be released on October 16 on Dirty Hit Records.
