Mt. Airy Art Garage, a 5,000-square-foot gallery on 11 W. Mt. Airy Avenue, will host a free to enter holiday art and craft market this weekend Nov. 16-17. It will also take place again on Dec. 14-15. Both events are 12 p.m. to 6p.m. with musical performances and refreshments available as you shop for handmade-crafty gifts for everyone on your holiday lists.
Woodworkers, sculptors, jewelers, photographers, ceramics, painters, leather workers and glass artists and more will be on the scene showcasing their talented work. Many pieces will be hand made which brings a unique flare because these aren’t everyday department store items!
Local band Saint Mad, who presents a new, themed show every first Friday at Crossroads Coffee House in Philly, will be playing at the show. Also performing is Art Miron, a Philadelphia based singer and guitarist who plays country, folk and pop music that will make make everyone feel right at home.
