Last War, the new album by Haley Bonar, is quite frankly a beautiful listening experience. The entire album is an alluring blend of dynamic melodies and impassioned vocals. The gentle delivery of the impactful lyrics will have listeners hitting repeat all afternoon.
Haley Bonar’s impressive talents of blending country and rock influences are fully displayed by a seamless fluctuation in the strength of the guitars and vocals within each song. Throughout the album itself, a balanced variety of vocally driven and instrument driven songs fully engage the listener in a cohesive fashion that is anything but boring.
Last War is a compilation of noteworthy pieces that will ensnare both past fans and new listeners alike.
